POLARIS - Opening Sequence

2003. While humanity begins to feel the strength of Earth’s climate change, NASA sends a hundred handpicked candidates to Venus, hoping to settle on the planet as a safeguard for human progress. The project is called “POLARIS”.

In 2004, the signal of the Polaris spaceship is lost and the project discontinued.

In 2056, in the advent of humanity’s full extinction and with the population dwindling faster than ever before, project “POLARIS” is rebooted, sending Iris with two objectives: finding intelligent life in a suitable planet, and passing on the history of the human species to them.
